Community and Social support in Lancing and Sompting with Pauline and 4 friends raise £9325.67 for Chestnut House children's hospice

In June 2006, myself and 4 North Lancing mums organised a Charity Masked Ball in aid of the Chestnut Tree Hospice for children. This was almost 10 months in the planning and the evening went off with a great bang. Originally, our target was to raise £5000.00. To our great delight and thanks to all those involved, we raised a massive £9325.67. Just thought it would be nice to let you know - I have a lovely picture of the 5 of us, in our glad rags with masks. Our main sponsor for the evening was Glen Bacon from Bacon and Co so a big thank you to him as well.
