Major Darrell Thomas of the Salvation Army has sent the following information to share

 

"May I request that if possible you could include a mention at some point for our work in the area as follows.

Our Community Programme that is run from our building in Crescent Road Worthing covers all age groups and there is no such thing as a quiet day, we offer an impressive selection of programmes and activities. Parent & Toddler groups, Pre-School, Creche, (Ofsted registered) Respite Care Service, Coffee shop & Restaurant, Support group for those with Parkinsons, Dysphasia and Dementia, Bi-weekly Contact Centre, Club for those with Learning difficulties, Domestic Abuse drop in centre, Clinic for homeless clients.

We are also a Christian place of worship open to all to attend. 

Our programme in the community is funded through our two Charity Shops, one in South Street, Lancing and the other in Rowlands Road, Worthing. There is always a need for good quality items of furniture, bric-a –brac, electrical goods to help us raise funds for our work in the local area.
