My friend lives in rented sheltered housing in the area which
belongs to a so called Charity who want to turf them and knock down
the property to build some family housing. The decision hangs on
the fact that the Charity's own surveyor says that it would cost
£800,000 to bring the first floor accommodation up to standard.
We are looking for a Builder or a Surveyor who would be prepared to
advise them free of charge whether or not that would be a realistic
costing.
