comments for 17/09/04:

RING DOVES WHICH ARE COMMON HERE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE LIST!
It's a quiet time at the moment but Green Finches and Gold finches seem to have just had yet another brood and we have had the young of both in the garden in recent weeks. Goldfinches attracted by the Nijner seed and special feeder which prevents the thick bills of the greenfinches reaching the seed.

thanks Ron, I have added collared dove which I think is the same as Ring Dove? If not please advise!

comments for 15/01/05: These sightings are only incidental ones. Unfortunately it has not been possible to sit andwatcfor birds as I havedone in the warmer weather. It's usual for us to see blackbirds, dunnocks, wood pigeons, robins, and sometimes goldfinches.

Cheers, Ron Marsh.
