Each year our gardens and the Downs are enriched by beautiful butterflies. How many different species are there on our patch? All those in the gallery below are likely to be seen, please use the scroll bar on the right to move down through it.

Under each picture is the name, brief details and a box for you to mark if you have seen this particular butterfly.
