Local author Tessa Kelly gave a most interesting historical tour of the church telling the 1,000 year old story of S. James the Less.

Tessa's book “A Thousand Years of Faith – S. James the Less”, the book which in words, photographs and reflection tell the story of the church is available from the Parish Office or from the Church at £2.00. All proceeds go to preserve this marvellous and important local building.

Tessa, centre gave a most interesting and enjoyable talk. Here are some of those who attended looking at the north wall to view the the Anglo-Saxon brickwork which remains.
