Our 1st Birthday Party was a great success. The photographs above will give you a flavour of the evening and perhaps if you attended you can spot yourself! The event was a sell out. There are Health & Safety regulations which say how many people at one time are to be in the church hall, so if you were unable to buy a ticket, our apologies. The catering for the evening was undertaken by Vicki at The Dill and Gherkin and what a spread was produced - many thanks! NLCA members Liz and Alan made the most marvellous birthday cake (which you will have seen above in the photos) complete with icing and candle - many thanks! The cake was cut for us by our guest for the evening, Stewart Metcalfe Sussex Community Police Support Officer for North Lancing. You may not know Stewart by name but you might recognise him in photos a/b/c talking with and being introduced to members. Music for the party was provided by our old friends, Foreman Five (for more details on the band contact Rob on 01903 755009) who include NLCA members Rob and Maureen. The excellent photos above were taken by NLCA member John who also took video footage of the evening .... so watch this space for details about that!
