Ladywell Valley. In the distance lies the River Adur and the Coast. Having crossed over Lancing Hill the stile is rather like a picture frame to our beautiful countryside Towards the aptly named Cowbottom This is the view east from Coombes Copse with the River Adur meandering in the distance Not all of this area is open to walkers and ramblers Beeding Cement works. There still does not seem to be a consensus on what is to happen to this site The farmers hand takes the ride back to Coombes Farm for a well earned lunch Steep Down Hill from the east Looking westwards toward the mystical Cissbury Ring The trig point on the summit of Steepdown Hill, 149 metres above sealevel
