Romain has a holiday villa in Sunny Spain and
contacts to say " I want to share with you
one set of a Praying Mantis I found one
morning on the ramp of our swimming pool. It was the
first time I saw a living Mantis and must say that they are
tremendously impressive creatures.
Apparently they are rather frequent in Southern Europe during
summer time. Though the danger of my camera was great
for it, the Mantis started flirting and followed all
movements I made with my camera. That was that very
moment I regretted not having a movie camera to fix
all movements and so on. The pictures were taken very
early in the morning and it was my dog Oskar who first
discovered the intruder at the pool side and started barking like mad" |
