Snow on 6th April 2008

Heavy snow fell on the morning and afternoon of Sunday 6th April 2008. It is likely to be the heaviest snowfall in the area since 1989. Many website visitors stepped forward to take images to share on these web pages - a big "thank you" for all who did so!
